Due to the complexities of our personalized golf adventures, please consider the following before contacting Gritty Golf Guide to begin the planning process:

Where: Surf through our destination descriptions to find one, or a few, that interest you.

When: Do you prefer a specific season, plan around your vacation, availability of playing partners? Specific dates or time periods will be matched against golf course availability.

Playing partners? Generally, the best scenario is a threesome plus Gritty Golf Guide. Some courses will accommodate fivesomes if you have four in your party. Two players or individuals are no problem, although we may get paired with unknown playing partners. Larger groups are great and a lot of fun.

Course availability? Is the course open, partially under reconstruction, intense scheduled maintenance such as aerating greens that could lessen our enjoyment, tournaments, available tee times, etc.

Length of trip: Generally, we use 4 days/4 rounds of golf/3 night accommodations for domestic trips, overseas trips are longer. Longer trips are fine but planning tee times at various courses may require considerable planning and flexibility.

Weather conditions: Do you avoid playing golf in heat, cold, rain, humidity?

Stamina and fitness: Can you walk 18 holes without a cart? Some of our destinations use caddies only, no carts.

Equipment:  Do you have foul weather gear, your own clubs, up to date grips, etc.?

Transportation: Do you prefer flying private aircraft or commercial?

Accommodations: Do you prefer hotels, rental homes, condos, or cottages at course sites?

Local transportation: Do  you prefer rental car, courtesy van, or driving yourself?

After round entertainment: Meals, site seeing, evening entertainment?
